Amanda Richardson's textile collages use rich, light-reflective fabrics that are hand-dyed. Her art describes details of the natural world both in Cornwall and inspired by travels in China, the Americas and Europe. The artworks shift and change their tonal values dependent on the angle at which they are viewed and the changing light. Each time the viewer looks at the art it comes as a fresh experience.
