Black Chairs

Gordon Monk is a Chair Maker, based in Peterborough. Chair components are roughly shaped from green wood (newly cut wood) with an axe and drawknife. These are left to dry before being refined and assembled into the final chair. Seats are selected from a store of planked wood.
