“By combining a range of traditional Silversmithing skills, I base a lot of my work around hollow shapes or flat ‘units’ of silver sheet that are then worked & formed into three-dimensional structures. It is from these structures that I then begin to think about function and build into the design a suitable use for each piece. From exploring the themes of symmetry and use of open space within my work since my Art Foundation course in Leeds to now, I seek to develop functional beautiful, contemporary pieces of Silversmithing that are sleek and suitable for use within the modern age & home.”
