Judith Peterhoff is a London based jewellery designer-maker. Judith draws inspiration from perceived imperfections, textures and tactility. She sees natural beauty in the characteristics that make us stand out, the imperfections and textures are emphasized to celebrate individuality in her work. Judith works in sterling silver, gold and with precious gemstones. She manipulates the malleable metal by delicately curving, forging and hammering it from the reverse side to create a tactile design in low relief. The textures are added in an organised chaos and thus each piece is completely unique. The sensuous smooth shapes evolve from flat lightly-textured surfaces to look as though they have grown.
