Longdowns Smithy & SAW Forge

The Longdowns Smithy has been a forge on the same site for over 160 years. Originally, it served the local granite quarries making chisels and tools, then moved on to shoeing horses and farm machinery repairs and today I produce bespoke gates, railings and shepherd's huts here. The blacksmith's business combines years of experience in metalwork and engineering with the most modern technologies. We're absolute enthusiasts when it comes to creating quality iron work. It gives us a tremendous sense of inner pleasure when we see the satisfied look on our customers' faces or when our efforts have resulted in another project being successfully completed.
