Meta Gallery
Diskudha – Cornish for reveal, uncover. Beyond the restaurants and coffee bars, the cream teas and artisan breads, the pretty pots and paintings of boats in harbours, there is the real Cornwall – captured, interpreted and re-imagined by artists and makers who love living here.
Meta is about finding something you will live with forever, something that will bring you pleasure for years and something that you catch yourself lost in thought in front of, drawn in by the colours and shadows and stories of your favourite piece.

David Cottrell - Recling Nude - Painting
At Breeze, we'll be presenting work by Daniel Cole, whose Birds exhibition forms part of this year's Bicentennial celebrations for the Royal Cornwall Museum. His joyfully vibrant, incandescent, sometimes haunting paintings reflect Daniel's inspirational insight into colour, line and form. Also on display will be the latest richly-textured, fascinating multimedia abstracts from Sophie Capron, just weeks before she begins her artist's residency at Picture Berlin in Germany. With life studies from David Cottrell, MFA, and the touchingly lyrical portraits of Melanie Sheridan, Meta offers a new perspective on art from Cornwall. Diskhuda!
