Mitch Pilkington Ceramics
Mitch creates hand-built sculptural vessels. Her work harks back to the dry, worn spirals of old conch shells collected on her travels around the Caribbean. She uses highly grogged stoneware and porcelain clays with surface treatments of slips and oxides to fully enhance the stonelike qualities of the clay.
