oB wear
Reflecting on the relationships we have with the objects in our lives, clothing maker Milly Melbourne of oB wear seeks to explore the creation of considered garment making. Designing, cutting and sewing garments with the intention of them being able to shape with us over the years as both our bodies and styles change. Bringing play into the direct way we interact with the garments in that space between being naked and fully clothed.
oB was created in Cornwall a place which Milly has always drawn inspiration from and where she used to study at Falmouth University.
She now bases herself and her clothes making in Bristol where she takes bespoke orders on her creations both locally and online.
"I am a clothing maker, I both design and manufacture the garments in my own workshop using high quality and ethical materials. I sell both unique one off garments and make designs to order, giving the individual the option to choose the fabric and desired fit. I tailor all my designs to fit any body size and proportions and make clothes with the intention of longevity and the preservation it's craft."
