Swashbuckling Cornwall, does what it says on the tin and swashbuckle on a regular base for theatre and film bringing to life an amazing art form. At Breeze Fair 2019, they will be offering you the chance for a closer look at some of the equipment they use and running a 'make your own chainmail workshop'. Ever wanted to try your hand at making your own chain mail? Now you can with this workshop. Drop in workshop £5 make your own chains...You will be working with real metal. Learn how to knit your own mail shirt from real metal rings and have something to take away afterwards. You have seen it in the movies and in museums but now is the chance to have it in your hand. Suitable for complete beginners, you will be guided through every step by the Swashbuckling Cornwall Team, with years of experience of arms and armour used in real life, on stage and on screen. This is not a jewellery making course. The skills you will be shown can be used to make jewellery such as earrings, bracelets, key chains and more but we will not be focusing on those. Under 18’s are welcome to attend provided they are accompanied by an adult.
