We are NOW recruiting volunteers.

There are no onerous tasks, we promise you! In exchange for volunteering your time, we can offer you: a free 3-day ticket pass and a a single day pass for a friend. In return we ask you to take a minimum of 2x shifts of approx. 3 hours each.

Breeze Art and Makers Community Interest Company are committed to making creative skills grow and flourish and to helping all those looking to establish their careers in fine and decorative arts. To bring a younger generation of artists and makers forward, Breeze Fair 2019 worked in partnership with The Radcliffe Trust, FEAST Cornwall, The Arts Society, The Guild of Ten and two marvellous Patrons, Michael B. White and Nik & Deb Ramsay-Trease, who are able to offer opportunities and financial rewards at the Breeze Fair and beyond the annual event.

The Radcliffe Trust is a financial partner in delivering the much praised ‘Discover Making’ day, an introduction to career paths through educational and vocational opportunities free of charge entry and events for educational groups. A special guest speaker is funded by the generous support of  Nik & Deb Ramsay-Trees.

The Guild of Ten Award supports newcomers to the Breeze Fair with the prize of £200 together with a showcase window at their shop in Old Bridge Street, Truro. The 2019 winner is Lin Lovekin, a heritage craft basket weaver, Lin Lovekin and we look forward to seeing who the winner is this year.

The ‘Miss Sarah Charles Award for Verve and Style’, will be awarded to an artist, maker or sculptor at Breeze Art and Makers Fair this September. The award, worth £300, offers a promising practitioner a stand at the fair each year. It is a memorial to Sarah, a talented stylist and writer who died last year. We hope to expand the opportunities this fund can offer such as training experiences, so we will look to increase the profile of this award in the coming year.  The 2019 winner is Ann Bruford, Jeweller.  Ann Bruford Designs Do visit her stand at Breeze Fair 2020.
